Burrata Cheese Board with Tomato and Basil

Equipment

- large serving board

- cheese knife or small spoons
Ingredients
- 2 4 oz containers fresh basil
- 4 4 oz Burrata balls
- 3 lbs cherry tomatoes on the vine
- 2 baguettes sliced on a diagonal
- 1-2 large fresh basil bunches
- red chili flakes
- extra virgin olive oil
- salt & pepper to taste
- balsamic vinegar
Instructions
- Begin by slicing your baguette into 1-inch slices2 baguettes
- Optional step: You can toast the baguette slices (I prefer mine fresh)
- Cut ½ of the tomatoes in half, add to a bowl, and sprinkle with a little basil cut in a chiffonade style (micro thin slices - see my video on YouTube below) with salt & pepper. - Score an “x” on the top of each Burrata, drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.4 4 oz Burrata balls, extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar
Assembly
- Place baguette slices on the sides edges of the board, next line at the bottom of the board with fresh basil leaves.
- Next place the burrata pieces in the middle of the board.
- Next, place the sliced cherry tomatoes surrounding each piece of Burrata.
