Salsa Mexicana

Also known as pico de gallo! This is the traditional Mexican salsa that we enjoy at our home in Cabo on a regular basis. Our friends in Mexico showed us this recipe and we use it all the time.
Ingredients
- 4 med tomatoes diced
- 1 jalapeño pepper for medium heat
- 1 chili de arbol or Serrano chili for spicy salsa
- 1 lime juiced
- ½ cup fresh cilantro rough chopped
- ¼ cup onion diced
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Carefully clean and dice the tomatoes, setting the juice to the side.4 med tomatoes
- Combine tomatoes, onions, chilies, cilantro, and half of the juice from the tomatoes.1 jalapeño pepper, 1 chili de arbol or Serrano chili, ½ cup fresh cilantro, ¼ cup onion
- Add the lime juice and salt and pepper to taste. Serve with tortilla chips or your favorite veggie crudités.1 lime, salt and pepper
