Jonathon and I had the amazing opportunity to participate this last weekend in the Boat Rally for Cancer in beautiful Muskoka, Canada. We hit the waters to compete in an Amazing Race-style competition with celebrity navigators to raise money for cancer research.
what is boat rally for cancer?
Boat Rally is a unique and fantastic boat event with everything we all love – community, helping fellow Canadians, being out on the water, and putting the FUN in FUNDRAISING!
This year’s Boat Rally was a two-day outdoor extravaganza where we celebrated tremendous strides in cancer research and the fantastic Sunnybrook medical community that supports Canadians diagnosed or living with cancer!
Kick off Event
Boat Rally started with a kick-off reception and Draft Party. The Teams who reached the mark of fundraising of $20k or more drafted their Celebrity Navigator to join their team for their race! Then it was time to put our boats in the water!
We had a blast in support of Sunnybrook Odette Cancer Centre and Ronald McDonald House Charities!!!
Registration
Registration was complete for our team and we were ready to go!
I was getting ready for our first pit stop with my Canadian bestie Nadine Meehan and my love, Jonathon – we were so excited to get started!
The Race is on!
The race was officially on and our first pit stop was a success! The first pit stop in the race was a vodka ice room and our task was to post a photo of us in in the ice room!
Pit stop number two was a success! It’s always great when we get to dunk a friend when it is for charity! I love you Nadine Meehan – you are such a good sport!

Boat Rally for Cancer in Muskoka Weekend came to a successful end and we made incredible memories with amazing people. In a last minute move our team (Team Williams) merged with Glen Road Capital Partners Team, for an increased competitive edge. Our combined team pulled the big Win for Boat Rally for Cancer 2022!
The weekend was a success and we did it all to raise money for Cancer Research. Jonathon and I are so grateful to be included with such amazing people, who are all passionate about raising money for people living with cancer.
