Instructions
In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, combine 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Once sugar is dissolved, remove from heat stir in 4 tbsp dried lavender.

Let the lavender steep for 30 minutes (or longer for a stronger flavor). The lavender flavor will build the longer it steeps.
Once your desired flavor is reached, strain lavender from simple syrup using a fine mesh strainer.
Store the syrup in a sealed airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 10 days.
