When it comes to losing weight, everybody loves to try a new gadget, join a new gym, get some new workout shoes or try a new deprivation diet. But the real trick to long-term weight loss (and ultimately, your health) is healthy eating. Even with little or no exercise, eating a healthy meal plan alone will cause a remarkable change in your body. In the calorie competition of exercise vs. nutrition, exercise is vastly overmatched. Even if you ran an entire marathon you would only be burning through the calories of a single super-sized fast food meal (1 mi. jog = 70 cal x 26 mi = 1820 cal). Regardless, I am NOT saying to quit exercising - nor am I saying to quit eating fast food. The trick is to eat enough food to satisfy your needs while causing your body to BURN FAT for fuel.
